## SECOND PASS INSIGHT

Trip hiked the trail twice. Second pass finding:
**Dan builds systems of SEEING for other people.**

The Magma Ops wasn't for Dan — it was because the park had no visual system.
The Terminus pipeline wasn't Dan's art — it was Dan making 14 artists visible.
The Hoh VC in Unreal wasn't Dan wanting a 3D model — it was Dan making a
building walkable for someone who couldn't visit.
The Hurricane Ridge archive isn't valuable because Dan has nice photos —
it's valuable because THE BUILDING BURNED DOWN.

Every single thing in the Darkive is Dan building a system of seeing
for someone else. VCU taught him HOW. Canon taught him the TOOLS.
NPS gave him the TERRITORY. The NEST is the same thing at the largest
scale Dan has ever attempted.
