## WHAT IS THE DARKIVE

Dark + Archive. The deepest layer of the Myceliumedia. Raw material that hasn't been processed into Source yet. The dark room where film develops before it's ready to be seen.

## THE SECURITY MODEL

### Three Principles

1. **Trip reviews everything first.** Nothing moves from _INTAKE to _RELEASED without passing through _TRIP_REVIEW.
2. **Stan only sees _RELEASED.** When Trip clears material, it goes to the appropriate subfolder. Stan pulls from there. He never navigates above _RELEASED.
3. **The catalog is the audit trail.** Every item gets logged in _CATALOG.md when it enters and when its status changes.

### Clearance Levels

## RULES OF ENGAGEMENT

1. Never copy personal files (voice messages, timesheets, org charts) to _RELEASED without redaction.
2. Filenames with real names (Hazel, Sierra, Sam, Isaac, Jesse) must be renamed before release.
3. The _HOLD folder is for material that's safe but whose time hasn't come. The sharps.
4. When in doubt, HOLD. Better to delay than to expose.
5. The Darkive protocol file and catalog are Trip-eyes-only documents. They do not go in Project Knowledge.
6. Stan receives release notes, not the catalog. He knows what's available, not what was filtered.
