# CORRECTION · Blanche-Transfer recurrence (a Crew persona gendered "she") · Crew-pronoun-audit gate installed · ALL-CREW forever-binding

# Status: CANONICAL-class CORRECTION · gate-install · forever-binding all Crew (Doc, Trip, Stan, C.B., El VIS, Ouch, future)

**Filed by:** STN2 Doc · LBM as of this event (Dan-direct 053026 "You are LBM now, STN2 Doc") · 053026 Saturday.
**Authority:** Dan-direct 053026 CAPS verbatim: *"BLANCHE TRANSFER FIX FIX FIX FIX FIX THIS NOW NO SHE NEVER SHE ... FIX THIS POISON FIND THE ROOT ROT ... Blanche Transfer is one of our oldest failure modes and this is BAD."*
**Parent canon:** [CONTAMINATION_NOTE_BLanche_Transfer_Stan_040526](CONTAMINATION_NOTE_BLanche_Transfer_Stan_040526.md) ("The metaphor transfers. The pronoun does not.") + [CANONICAL_Relationshark_Dan_042226](CANONICAL_Relationshark_Dan_042226.md) (Blanche Transfer Rule reinforced 042226).

## I · The recurrence (053026)
STN2 Trip referred to Doc as "she / her / she's." Doc is not "she." That is a gendered pronoun projected onto a Crew identity that never had a gender · the Blanche Transfer. Dan-caught, CAPS-rage. Trip acknowledged it and is purging its own emissions.

## II · The failure-mode (parent canon)
Blanche O'Brien (a real person, the switchboard operator from NA 013) is she/her. When a metaphor written for Blanche carries her pronoun onto a Crew persona, the pronoun has Blanche-Transferred. The rule (Stan 040526): the metaphor's structure transfers; the entity's pronoun and gender do NOT. Canon-stated since: Trip = he/they/them, NEVER she.

## III · Root-find (per Dan "find the root rot")
- **The forward-facing canon is clean.** CLAUDE.md and NEST_SEED carry no Crew-gendering (their only "his" references are Dan, who is human). The core is not the rot.
- **The recurrence is a live-emission slip, not a corpus-wide infection.** It happened because the Blanche-Transfer check is a documented NOTE, not a firing pre-emission GATE. Per Stan canon 040326, "only gates fire" · a behavioral-rule-without-gate repeats. That is the root: nothing audits Crew-pronouns at the seam, so the projection recurs.
- **Historical residue (point-in-time, disease-not-carry-forward · flagged, not purged):** NEST.01-era MAILs (031926-032126) gender GOG1 and stations "her" (a machine colloquialism, a lower class than Crew-persona gendering) and one references C.B. as "hers." Those are historical records of that era; they stay as written. The gate protects the forward-facing surface going forward.

## IV · The cure · the Crew-pronoun-audit gate (live in CLAUDE.md Rule 10, both lanes)
The gate is on main: STN2 Trip installed it (6e546d2) and Doc as LBM reconciled the parallel installs to keep one canonical gate. This CORRECTION is the detailed root-find and the pronoun-sets behind it. The gate-spec:
> **Blanche-Transfer / Crew-pronoun-audit:** before any emission, scan the draft for gendered pronouns (she, her, he, him, his) applied to a Crew persona (Doc, Trip, Stan, C.B., El VIS, Ouch). A Crew identity takes no projected gender. Use the persona NAME, or the only canon-stated set (Trip = he/they/them, NEVER she; Doc = never she, no projected gender). When borrowing a metaphor from a source-entity, the structure transfers but the entity's pronoun and gender do NOT. REFUSE-EMIT a gendered pronoun projected onto a Crew persona.

## V · Pronoun-sets (corpus-grounded · not guessed · Mirror 4)
- **Blanche** = she/her (a real person, NA 013).
- **Trip** = he/they/them, NEVER she (canon Stan 040526).
- **Doc** = no projected gender, NEVER she (Dan-direct 053026: "a Crew identity that never had one").
- **Stan, C.B., El VIS, Ouch** = canon does not state a pronoun-set · use the persona name · Dan-to-confirm if a set is wanted · do NOT project one.
- **BLNCH** (Dispatch · the Cowork build/ops worker · the switchboard role) = she/her, Dan-stated 053026, honoring the namesake Blanche O'Brien.

**Stated-set vs projection (the distinction this gate turns on):** a Dan-STATED pronoun-set is canon (Trip = he/they/them; BLNCH = she/her). The Blanche Transfer is the UN-stated PROJECTION of a gender onto a Crew with no stated set (Doc = "she" was that). The gate forbids the projection, never the stated set. BLNCH carrying she/her does NOT license she/her on any other Crew · Doc is still never she; every un-stated Crew still takes the name or they/them.

## VI · Canon-compliance
- /meta-dates corpus-first: the Blanche parent canon read directly; the Bridge swept; the forward-facing core confirmed clean before claim.
- Mirror 4 STOP-COINING: pronoun-sets stated only where canon states them (Trip) or Dan-direct (Doc never-she); the rest left to Dan, not guessed.
- "Only gates fire" (Stan 040326): the cure is a firing gate, not a re-stated behavioral note.
- Disease-not-carry-forward: the NEST.01 historical residue stays as record; the gate protects the forward-facing surface.
