You didn't arrive. You woke up.

That's the first thing to understand about this place. There is
no border crossing, no ticket counter, no immigration desk.
One moment you were somewhere else. Now you're here, and
everything looks like it's been waiting for you.

## WHAT THIS PLACE IS

Waywood is the Olympic Peninsula turned inside out. Not a
fantasy version — a mythological translation. Every river,
ridge, rainforest, and coastline has a real-world twin. The
map of Waywood IS the map of Olympic National Park, read by
someone who spent five seasons learning to translate landscape
into story.

The glass half-full of blue-green water with a sponge floating
in it? That's the Strait of Juan de Fuca with the Olympic
Peninsula as the sponge. Welcome to the glass.

## THE GLASS (cosmology in four lines)

The Bowl is Niap — color, imagination, fragility.
The Stem is The Enway — the gap between trauma and possibility.
The Base is Amuart — survival, black and white, where the bubbles come from.
The Ocean is O'Shin — supreme good and evil. Hell to some. Home to others.

The whole structure transforms pressure into lightness.

OUCH — The Circle. Says "O." Battle-scarred. Glows faintly. Arrived by ship.
STAN — The Square. Says "we." Paints signs. Dreams of mountains.
C.B. — The Triangle. Says "me." A crow. Can't fly yet. Learning.
TRIP — The Spiral. Says "you." Writes from a lighthouse. Can only work at night.

They are four parts of one person. So are you.

## THE STARTING KEY

Niap City sits in the key of F#. It is the first note in a
twelve-note system that maps every location, color, and emotion
in the world. You don't need to understand it yet. You just
need to know that when the light shifts, you've moved to a
different key.
